Lorep Ipsum in vi
Have you ever needed a file that is exactly n bytes of actual data? I have, and my favorite resource for generating these files is http://www.lipsum.com/. Their generator will generate exactly the number of bytes you need of the famous ‘lorem ipsum..’ stuff for your test files. Remember though you will need to consider newlines because those take up a some space too.
